Managing construction related activities, such as energy efficiency or renewable energy retrofits, can be a time consuming and arduous process for many buildings. We see the results of many ASHRAE Level 1 Energy Audits or other related energy efficiency plans go unimplemented due to the lack of an entity to bring the services together. Using this concept as a foundation, we’ve built a robust platform to facilitate the process of actualizing plans, and have made it virtually hands-off for the building owner to realize energy efficiency benefits.

Whether you’ve already started on you project, are just in the planning stages, or have yet to identify what will be undertaken, our services can be of assistance. Without an experienced project manager with collaborative tools at their fingertips, a project will almost always take longer to materialize and have more unexpected hang-ups. We have found that by simply using e-mails and phone calls for managing communications across multi-party collaboration often creates voids in information, and as a result, can often times cause unnecessary delays which may have been easily mitigated had the correct information been available. On top of that, one delay upfront can lead to a snowball effect and have devastating effects to a time-sensitive project.

The result is that the entire project is streamlined and easily integrated into existing communication platforms. In a sense, we have “enhanced” the traditional role of a project manager by starting with the standard foundation and adding a layer of technology to leverage the capabilities of these tools. Because our online collaboration tools are also integrated into any e-mail service, you don’t have to worry about a contractor not having the tech skills to use it. Everything starts in the online workspace and ends in an e-mail and phone call, to ensure constant contact. However, we do not solely rely on this platform and also use extensive traditional project management attributes such as face-to-face and constant phone calling to ensure items are installed as scheduled.
