We have partnered with Colorado Appraisal Consultants, a full-service real estate valuation firm, to provide underwriting for the purpose of evaluating the risks associated with financing these projects.
It is important for lenders and investors to understand capital improvements within the realm of the borrower and property when considering energy efficiency.
Our energy efficiency underwriting capabilities evaluate all relevant components of the project, such as:
- Building value
- Project value to cost
- Typical financial measures as they relate to the project (ROI, IRR, breakeven, NPV, etc.)
- Overall financial/risk assessment of the project
- Proposed/current financing structure (building & EEC’s considered separately)
- Property characteristics (market value of the property, strengths and weaknesses, etc)
- Proposed energy efficiency improvements

Our underwriting will provide an expert opinion as to the risk and feasibility for repayment of financing related to building improvements.

What We Need to Get Started
To order our Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy Underwriting we will need to know the address of the building, building type, proposed improvements and many other details pertaining to the borrower and/or building.
